How much time is left before it stops?

To know how much time is left for your spin click on the following link: http://www.neopets.com/prehistoric/monotony/wheel_mono_get_prize.phtml It will show something like this:

Now the timeleft= is what you should be looking for. No it does not mean that you have 3177000 seconds left. :)
Anyways my timeleft= was 3177000.
First take off the last 3 0s
This leaves us with 3177
Now devide that by 60 (seconds)
that gives me 52.9
That number (52.9) means that the Wheel will stop spinning in 52.9 minutes.

What will I get?

Now to get this to work, do not go to the normal page that you go to to play the Wheel. Instead click on the following link: http://images.neopets.com/prehistoric/mo..._xml.phtml&wheel_id=monotony
You should see something like this:

If you look to the box in the top right hand corner there is a bunch of computer code. Click the "Spin Spin Spin" button, then it will show this, or something similar.

What you need to look at is the highlighed line. Between the two occurances of the word prize, ignore the greater than and less than symbols, is a number, in this case it is a 12.

The number represents the prize.

The number list is here, I believe it's complete, but may not be complete.

1. Mazzew
2. Petpet Brush
3. Gourmet Food
4. Weapon
5. 5,000 NP
6. Question Mark
7. Faerie Abilities
8. Red Codestone
9. Bri Codestone
10. Volcano
11. Rock: Your Neopet will loose half their hp, so its not worth waiting for. (Thanks, dvdcox73)
12. Random items or avatars (thanks, banditkaos, Amy, liesjuh1988)
13. Lottery Ticket
14. Paintbrush
15. Beast
16. 20,000 NP, there is a chance you may get a toy (Thanks, kizzkizz_k)
99. Beast Attacks, Lottery Ticket, free Spin, other random (Thanks, Lord_Byron469 & Caitlin)

Meaning my 12 would get me a Scroll or Poster

Numbers 10 (Vulcano), 11 (Rock), 15 (Beast) and 99 (Beast Attacks) are not good numbers to keep. If you receive any of these as a prize, just click the X at the top right corner to stop the game.

If you get 13 (Lottery ticket), you will not see anything in your inventory. It just means that your name has been submitted for the next lottery drawing and if you win, TNT will contact you. If you don't hear from TNT, then you didn't win.

If you decide to let the wheel continue to spin for the duration, you cannot log out of Neopets. If you want to continue playing other games, just minimize the page and use Snorkle to open another page to access games. Just keep checking your Monotony progress

Ivy and Soorelen outlined this process in a simple "user-friendly" way. Just follow it and you won't have any problems.

To Kimmmmm: What is it doing? Or should I say "not doing", lol. Are you talking about the Link to Source? I used it today and got a Bri Codestone and yesterday I got a paint brush. Oh, the link and the chart work well, wowgirl and snoopypoo3. I've used it constantly, and every time it's been right. Here's what you do. Open up Notepad from your start menu (if you're on Windows). Then highlight the code to the right of the wheel and paste it into notepad. You can then see everything. Voila - prize and time.

In my experience, 99 doesn't actually give you anything, it only makes you lose like all of your hitpoints. Some sort of glitch I think.

Look you people who swear up and down it don't work are all just noobs. It works fine. I got the 20,000 np after 86 minutes and here is the source to prove it. "1leoxkitten12516300044315Collect Prize" I got my points and had no problems with it working. Just a tip for possible blondes out there, "make sure you are logged in before you click the link."

Hey, people that seem to be getting 99 everytime. I think you might be following the instructions a bit wrong lol, It happened to me before I realised. Don't spin the wheel as normal, and then click the link to find out what prize you will get. Go to the link on this page FIRST THING to spin the wheel. K? =) btw, awesome page you have here

Do you have a pop-up blocker or a firewall installed?

Nice guide! I think you can log out in between though, and you still get your prize. I did, and it was still okay. I think you just have to make sure you're logged into your account when the wheel stops spinning.

@thehiddenpaw: I think you got either 15 or 99, which is The Beast. It takes off all your HP if you land on it. I got him once before and squished by with only 1 HP left.

I've never gotten a paintbrush or the money. It's mostly lotto ticket, rock, or beast. I wish it was a fair wheel, but then again, there would be too many good items given out.
