Neopets Sophie's Stew

Sophie's Stew is a rather interesting game. You play as Sophie's wand, a magical device that assists her in brewing her stews. Here's the twist with this game....she tosses them out blindly, and you have to 'bounce' the item into her cooking pot. It is very easy to miss an item as you get further along into the game, because you have to manage the full screen, and bounce anywhere from 1-5 items at a time...and if you just miss it...it's gone. There's a meowclops that wanders around, waiting for something to hit the floor so he can eat it up. However, there are some bizarre....*raises an eyebrow*side effects??....that occur when the meowclops eats certain items that Sophie tosses out.

So far, no really good tips on this game, as I've only played it a few times. So send in the submissions!!

Use your mouse/cursor instead of your arrow keys to make it easier to control the wand. And when using the mouse, try not to move it out of the game window, otherwise the wand won't move. I could suggest playing on x-large mode so wherever you put your cursor, the wand still moves. I'm not going to say full-screen mode since the game window will become thin. :P
And do not press your right mouse button while playing Sophie's Stew! It will make your game over automatically!

This little tidbit of information is from one of our readers by the name of black_ribbon.
When playing Sophie's Stew, I suggest that the ingredient should land on the edge of the wand because it bounces farther. If you want the ingredient to bounce higher, it should land on the center of the wand. Hitting the bird, too, with the ingredient, gives you a bonus.

Thanks SwordsGirl for letting us know: Any of the things that have worms in them earn you points if you feed them to the meowclops.....

Thanks to MrMan for letting us know: Fish pops has more value to meowclopes.

Thanks to KnittedEnitity for letting us know: If you hit the item on either side of the wand it goes father that way. If you hit it back into the place where she throws stuff from (the chest) you will not get penalized.

Thanks SophiesAssistant for letting us know: A droolik flies on the top of the screen occasionally. If you toss an ingredient up there next to him, it'll drop a jewel down. (It could be good or bad) Note: The droolik dosn't eat it so you still have the food. (Next time try the Meowclops!)

Another helpful hint from annonymous: Type in meowclops and get an extra life but I think I spelled it wrong!!!

The code for an extra life is hungrymeowclops (Thanks, CaRaRuLeS)
