Most people don't know how the stock market works, or what stock is, even, but it is almost a guaranteed long-term (but huge) profit and you don't have to do very much at all.The stockmarket is located in "Games" after scrolling down to the Chia. I just started using it not too long ago, and decided I liked it, because it is actually quite simple.
I like to call stocks invisible receipts--in the real world, you give a corporation money to expand when you invest (or buy shares) and as the demand goes up for that stock, the price of it goes up and you could make a profit by selling it back. It does not mean you own the company.
Invest in everything at a low price on the neopets stockmarket and you will profit overall. No dividends, nothing realistic at all---it is all random. The reason you should invest at the lowest price possible (which is 15 neopoints per share, but you should buy shares at between 15-17 neopoints) is so that if by any chance the stock bankrupts (very rare), you won't lose very much. The limit each day is 1000 shares, that's 15,000 each day for the cheapest stock, but I suggest you buy at a minimum, 500 shares from one company, meaning you can split the shares between more than one company, but it will not give you as much of a profit. If you don't have at least 100,000 neopoints, save up more and then begin the stock market.
A portfolio shows you all your purchased stocks. Shares in many different companies are more likely to give you a profit.
The stock market requires patience, meaning you should never sell at a loss because the value is likely go to back up again. I sell my shares when their value has at least doubled. If you have more than 1000 shares in a company and it doubles, imagine the profits.

Actually, this is very good advice. As mentioned in this guide, the stock prices are completely random. There are no events that affect the "companies". Therefore, buying a stock at 15 NP and letting it raise over time will gain you profits. This, of course, is being said for people with little money. As your money increases, you can climb up higher in the stock market, purchasing more expensive stocks, as these have higher ratio inclines (Instead of a 15 NP stock gaining about 1-4 points an update, a 350 gaining up to 50 points or more an update). Still, the rates are random, but buying as low as possible can definitely bring in money over time for beginners. Seeing your stocks decrease for the first few updates shouldn't surprise you. Neither should any increases, as said, they are random. But, just leave your stocks in for a few days or weeks until you have gained your desired amount.
truekimbo what are you talking about?!??
you buy at 15, and sell at whatever your sell point is be it 30,45, or 60.
Theres virtually no risk, and all gain. Its slow true, but its not meant to be the primary source of income.
This is terrible stock market advice, the 15NP stocks are rarely the most profitable.
