Ultimate Bullseye Guide
First off, lots and lots of practice is required! There's no easy quick way to get this avvie (or that I've found). So have fun with it and be patient. Playing the World Challenges while you play for your daily nps is a great way to practice and see your progress. Who knows, you may even come out with extra nps and picture pieces!
1) Pick your screen size: I have heard many good players say that they play the game on a full screen. After playing about 2 months I decided to give it a try. It didn't work for me, if anything I got lower scores. BUT that isn't to say that it doesn't work. My best advice is to pick a screen size and stick with it. After playing the game enough you will get a feel of where to aim and how much power to use, changing the screens in the middle of that is very confusing.
2) Type CATAPULT to get an extra power up.
3) Save ALL your power-ups until your last shot. Then combine them to your advantage. - there are 4 different power-ups:
B (big bullseye)- bullseye gets bigger and smaller- same amount of points as usual, must hit bullseye for extra power-up
P (puppet)- 20 pts if you hit the apple and another power-up
C (closer)- practically worthless on it's own, doesn't give you any extra points, power up with bullseye like normal, but can be invaluable when used in combination
F (fire)- doubles the worth of the ring you hit. if you hit in the bullseye or second inner ring you get another power-up
- the most useful combinations (these are the only ones I personally use): P+F+C= 40 pts P+F= 40 pts F+C= 20 pts if hit the bulleseye, 10 if hit the inner ring, both give you extra turn and power up. It helps to combine with the C b/c sometimes the high fire shots that are far away are practically impossible to hit. P+C= 20 pts B+C= 10 pts - other combinations (these I personally don't use, but you may find them helpful): P+B +/-C= 20 pts B+F+/- C= 20 pts, put must hit the bullseye for extra power-up and turn P+B+F+/-C= 40 pts
4) To get the turtum avvie you must score 225+ (any score above 224 is subject to review so it might take a day or so before the avatar is awarded)
5) To place and earn NPs in the world challenges usually requires that you are able to score 100+, though on occasion I have seen players who have a game high of 90 place and win awards.
6) If you decide to play the world challenges like I did while sharpening my skills, take note that no score over 225 is accepted. That means any avatar score you earn during the WC can still be sent in as long as you haven't sent in 3 scores for the day. It will be just subject to review as usual. Beyond that, any score of 225+ will not be counted, as I unfortunately learned the first time I broke 225.
These are my best tips! Best Wishes and GL!
